So Vanity basically said in his interview that Leaf doesnt play too much Valorant and he is still a beast.

what does he mean with that? How can Leaf be a pro if he doesnt play much Valo and just practices with the team

some players are just like that, I think NAF, Fer etc. was like that too

I suppose he means he doesn't play ranked at all which is fine a lot of pros in other games don't really play a lot outside of team pracs

I just don’t think he likes this game’s mm system

Some will now say even if he don't play that much he is doing well but he could be much better and more useful to the team if he would play more. He is getting paid to do his best and he is still holding back. That's not ok for a Pro.

as a pro your obligation is to put yourself in peak form for every match, for some players spamming ranked does more harm than good for them. as such it would actually be appropriate for them to balance their playtime instead of mindlessly grinding the game at all times

Basically what he is saying, outside of playing team practice and scrims. He doesn't play a lot of Valorant like ranked. A lot of CS pros do this as well because of their schedules. They don't play a lot of FPL or pugs, they do their team practices, scrims, and play officials and get off.

If I'm not mistaken, Tenz is the same way. Pretty sure he only plays ranked on stream. Could be wrong.
