everyone was complaining at the start at the fact that minor regions get a good amount of slots at champions/masters but its clear riot most likely wont change this as their idea of growing all region to where they can all compete at the top level is being proven by the way these minor regions are putting up good fights against NA/EU

i mean KR is one team region atm and they are prolly better than half of the team present at berlin and SA havent even played an official VCT tournament other than 1 team and it was within SEA so give them time things will change

If these asian teams get free spots with nothing proven and no improvement shown after a full year then imo OCE should get one too. OCE have a history of doing well in CS as well, they have potential for sure as a region.

OCE does not have direct slots for champions because riot puts OCE together with NA, for example, the two regions compete for the same VALORANT CHALLENGERS and they have the famous SONIQS which was the only OCE team that managed to draw a map of the sentinels with Tenz (and at LCQ NA the OCE was supposed to have participated, the OCE teams were PEACE and ORDEM and for some reason riot just left NA, maybe next year they can come a little more)

valid point, I mean you have to acknowledge the slot distribution in the first year of valorant is kinda scuffed considering it based on the amount of playerbase in early 2021, should expect more region coming in 2022. but SEA is definitely improving over this year. it just they're fighting against the favored/major region (smb,vs,gmb,nv) since master berlin, and still put a fight and even got a map . that's definitely an improvement in my book.
