minimal difference in performance (and after 3200 dpi is even lower), just stick with what you feel more comfortable

If you say no science then no it doesn't matter, but if you actually look at the science behind optimum tech made a video on it iirc explaining that higher dpi has better response time up to like a few milliseconds

A lot of the cracked pros use either 800 or 1600. If you want a more precise eDPI, you would want to go with a lower DPI. However, if you're fine with one of the more generic eDPI numbers like 320, 160, etc. you can go with 1600 DPI. There is a slight benefit to 1600, but it won't feel that significant if you are not a highly competitive gamer or aimer. You should mostly care about the eDPI in game.

I looked up to players and cracked aimers like leo, screaM and Alfa or FUT xeus. They are all on 400 Dpi. Is there a reason behind for the precision and stability or it actually don’t matter

For 400 and 800 DPI, the precision is basically when you're calculating eDPI. So when you are in game, you have precisely how much sensitivity you want in response to your mouse movements. For Valorant, most players are going to be between 160-400 eDPI with the average usually being around 280 eDPI. If you wanted something a touch slower than 280, being on 800 or 400 DPI might be better to fine tune in comparison to 1600 DPI. The only reason is basically calculation based. DPI is a small detail in how you play games since there are factors like your mouse weight, mousepad material and size, and monitor refresh rate which will give you an advantage that you can notice better. DPI you might notice something but as I mentioned in my other comment, it will not be that significant the higher your rank goes.

It comes from cs, they don't feel like they need to change it

I used to use 1600 but I switched to 700 because when I'm working, 1600 hurts my wrist. You need more wrist control the higher the dpi are.

or you just lower the ingame sens accordingly

I'm not talking about in-game, tho. I'm talking about when I'm working. I spent 80% of my days in front of the computer. I use my mouse more than my keyboard, where precision is important as well. Because of that, when I use high DPI, it'll force me to use my wrist instead of my whole arm.

i mean you could also just lower the mousepointer speed in the windows settings and leave your sens as is but both get the job done regardless

yea but dont really think too much about it, just focused on cm/360 part of it

Yes, too low is bad and too high is kinda bad. anything between 800 - 3200 is fine

He a 400 dpi player and was a fkn beast in his time? What do you mean. His game sense was obv the main thing but wouldn’t get anywhere without aim.

that doesn't mean anything, scream is pbb on 400 bc it used to be what everyone used at the time but Aspas, Something and vo0kashuu are on 800, KK is on 1600 ect... It doesn't matter and is just a comfort thing

Comfort thing outside valorant so dpi doesn’t effect valorant game sens in any way if edpi is same dpi between 400-3200 don’t matter?

I heard that higher dpi gives you faster input time in game but didnt see any benefits for myself just made a bit faster than my current which I'm not comfortable with (0.44 400)

It can be placebo because dpi shouldn’t effect speed or anything in game if Edpi is same right?
