from being 5-0 in groupstage originallly, now in this next groupstage they are 0-3, possibly going to 0-5 (although unlikely)

what happened? these guys looked like the #1 pacific team to second to worst now, was it all a honeymoon phase, did the competition get harder? what caused this dramatic fall where they loook like the polar opposite team in the last group stage.

most of the teams were going through changes suddenly so it was only a matter of time

What happended?
Because you only see the number "5-0" and overreacting the result by saying that Boom looked like #1 Pacific which isn't true
This is not honeymoon phase and not dramatic fall

Boom vs Gen.G: Boom put a goodnfight against ass Gen.G with Suggest
Boom vs GE: GE is ass, can you count how many times GE dry peeking Boom?
Boom vs PRX: First time PRX play with Patmen
Boom vs DRX: This is actually legit both Boom and DRX playwell
Boom vs DFM: With Art as IGL? Expected

If we compared to current Stage 2 against the same teams, Boom should've lose to PRX and Gen.G, while 3 others teams have 40-60% chance to win

And now, in Alpha Group, Boom lose a close game against T1 and almost make a comeback against PRX on Lotus. That is acceptable lose.
BUT, they way they lose to Talon is dissapointing. That is the only question mark for Boom, other than that is fine.
Stop overreacting "0-3" without see how they play

genuinely thinking they collapsed after they fumbled playoffs.
post stage 1 games are so horrid they looked like they are back in their 2023 form, with severine still playing as IGL.
i do think it's all about the mental. especially famouz. he's a mechanically gifted player, so does berserx and ncslasher, but somehow they play like an uncoordinated collegiate players.

The problem is team confidence and Famouz inconsistent

It was expected for a knowledgeable hater such as myself. knew all the wins were flukes riding off of debuts/subs

I remember tuning in to an APAC stage 1 playoffs game (idr which) and they interviewed the coaches for general advice they give their players. BME's coach said something along the lines of "stay humble and don't overpeek" and I knew the run was over as soon as there's actual stakes

Boom is literally C9. Good for a lil bit of time and as soon as they qual to playoffs they crack and break. Boom winning in Stage 1 but losing the drx rematch and then to paper rex is nuts

very little chance for them to go to champs even with the points they have now.
pacific top 5 teams are very hard to beat as a mid-low table team.

Boom never had a rise in the first place....they were just lucky that everyone in their group in stage 1 were either trying out new things in their comps or had roster adjustments that they had to play with... (Considering that GE and DFM were just ass)

Yeah, in normal situation Boom W-L is 2-3 or 3-2
