NRG has tons of individual talent, even on par with some t1 teams imo, but they can never seem to crack even t2 and t3 tournaments.
s0m is an exceptionally talented duelist/flex with the potential to be a top 1-5 jett NA, eeiu has been a consistent top 5 sova NA since the intro of the roster, and android brings aim talent and experience in the sentinel/controller role.
I think tex needs to go desperately, brings controversy and is exceedingly inconsistent, and, despite him being a fan favorite, I think the move with hazed didn't make much sense.

There is a massive amount of untapped talent in the t2 NA scene with names like aleksandar and maybe even bang, given a little development, in an intiator role, hell, they could even try to poach corey with the condition faze is in. not sure what they would do about an IGL from here, but it hurts watching such a talented team waste away their potential in t2 tourneys.

The NRG's biggest problems were always constant roster changes imo. Them signing people or the players choosing to leave (which I count as quite unlucky events as you could not really see them coming as much as the org decisions), often coming with role changes plus meta changes on top of that have not been a very good for the team and them being consistent.
So I don't quite understand why would you like them to make changes again especially that moving tex to be the second duelist and not be under the pressure of Jett have shown an amazing sights for the future. Along of course with S0m and Android being so fit and what matters a lot - happy about their new roles, finally the team can focus on building synergy and improving their gameplay while the base of the team is solid.

yeah I agree, I don't think Hazed was the greatest choice.

Could you specify the reasons behind your point?

just a gut feeling rn. I'll be the first to admit I'm not the most knowledgable on neither TSM nor NRG's history (hazed probably isn't the only reason for TSM's collapse). I'm sure Hazed and NRG have good chemistry and that Hazed is friends with the players, but it'll take more than that to fix NRG. Which is sad because one of the few things I've seen from NRG is their potential.

BTW. to anyone here confused about NRG signing hazed.
I doubt the whole ordeal with that move was based strictly on the gameplay related stuff but rather on his relationship and synergy with S0m and the org seeing it as the great potential for the team anyway.

but it's not enough.

we'll see in the future. Hopefully, they'll make some major changes. Hopefully hazed is a much better player than I think he is.

hopefully...

that's fair. Individually the players on NRG are cracked. In other facets of their gameplay... they are lacking severely.

Tex has been looking great on the secondary duelist so idk why you're calling him out for needing to go "desperately". First, NRG should give the roster some time before they instantly blow it up. I'm really not a fan of JoshRT(their coach) so if they were going to make a move, I think it should come on the coaching aspect of things. And then if they change things on the coaching aspect and give the roster time, then they might want to look at replacing tex. The only reason I say that is because of Android. Android kind of reminds me of Zellsis, where he has really good aim but is kind of forced to be the sentinel main for the team(even though they both should be secondary duelists). So if NRG make a roster change, it should be to pick up a sentinel main or smoke main and drop tex. This would allow Android to move back to secondary duelist and would just be a change to a struggling roster.

this is a perfect example of
a team is not equal to sum of inidviduals
