I just started watching VCT again in stage 1 and surprised that T1 won bangkok lmao, like legit they just look so mid throughout stage 1 and they look mid today, how tf did y'all let autumn won a trophy

they won bangkok by defeating every single first seed from every region and if you think T1 is mid than thsoe teams are shit.
although during that tourney T1 looked insane and you cant expect a team to perform insane back to back after winning one tourney(exception fnatic)

T1 and VIT never has been that good, in Bangkok, the meta was shaky and the team that play smart and Macro didnt have enough time to preparate their playstyle, and that allow team that rely on firepower to be better that more smart team that will be better on the longterm, VIT is now mid because playinf without macro is doable at the start of the year, not a the end, and T1 also payed really weird comp.

tldr ; At start of the year every team is mid or bad, so team like Vita and T1 can do a run
