every year the format and/or schedule is garbage

pro player concerns dont get listened to (bad stage PCs in the year 2025)

meta changes come at random times and said changes are rarely healthy / fun for the game

map design is awful, game feels inconsistent, no new game modes in the past 2 years, no replay system after 5 years

ranked incentives = 2 spinning gun buddies after 6 months and a png triangle in the loading screen

how is it possible that anyone enjoys valorant in 2025, much less want to compete?

Anything is fun if you do it with friends, whether that be queuing ranked or playing at the highest level. Yes, this is a cheesy answer, but it is an answer

money, most players don't enjoy the game they just get paid to play said game
some players aren't as prominent on twitch so they can't exactly just switch to streaming
fns and s0m could tho they make way more money streaming
