This is pure speculation, but Verno probably had very strong ideas and wanted to make a lot of calls when he joined, but his ideas maybe conflicted with fns’s ideaology. Combined with the fact that som Ethan and fns are already kinda vocal, they probably shut him down and he just decided to comm very little as a result and focus on shooting, since that’s kinda the role they forced him into.

Generally speaking, most rosters have 3 vocal players and two quieter ones. Since mada som and Ethan are vocal and fns is the caller, Verno likely kinda felt out of place.

tbh, i dont even think that it was an intentional thing, like i dont think ethan, fns, s0m were straight up like "ey bruh let us call". i think it was kind of a misunderstanding and verno didn't feel comfortable comming when everyone else was yapping and the rest of them wanted him to yap as well. shit could have been resolved so fucking easily bro.

The resolution is simply more time together so they get more comfortable with the team dynamic and verno is more comfortable after adapting to the pressure and grandeur of his first t1 team.

He is an initiator. Him dying cripples retakes, site execs, and midround information utility. Your recon initiator should be the biggest baiter on the team, even more than smokes in some cases.

Somewhat bad decision making, but likely assumed heaven guy was holding elbow cross. They used util elbow and Cortezia made noise entering site while verno held heaven to bait the heaven player into swinging to help his teammate, but artzin went ramp and Cortez lost his 1v1.

It's probably just awkward around experienced players. I'd imagine being on a team with a very experienced and proven igl and 2 other experience players, it feels weird to call over them. If you tried to put your own ideas out there, and they don't turn out well, then it feels like it's just not your place. And you just start to feel less comfortable as a player and lose confidence.

I also think that after looking like an absolute monster in off season, he put a lot of pressure on himself to perform. When nrg started struggling, that’s why he’d die trying to do a dumb hero play. On mibr, he way more confident in his team and understands he can just play his game and if is having a bad day, oh well xenom Cortezia or aspas got him

I think you are absolute right but it's not only the calls, there's another problem there: the enviroment. I watch the mibr vlogs and they are chilling with Verno, making jokes and having fun and he even said it's feel more comfortable than in NRG. I mean, he lives in the aspas apartament. After all, we brazilians are all open heart and kind with mostly of the people and we try a lot to understand their point of view.

Well mibr is way better team. I don't think they heavily rely on verno.Anything is upgrade over nzr tbh.
