have you not watched VCT this season? Ascent meta is yoru deadlock omen sova/tejo and cypher/vyse, kj and kayo are so off the meta its not even funny

most teams get punished for experimenting new comps in ascent

you're right on the sentinels, vyse is getting a lot of play right now, and with cypher here and there

kayo doesn't get played in double senti comps (which are usually cypher + deadlock), but most teams stick to the double ini comps, and tejo isn't as good as kayo in ascent

but my point still stands, the map has been played the same for years even with new comps

Kj isn't off meta imo it's just that teams have once again forgotten she exists after cypher buffs and now vyse same thing happened in 23 right after chamber nerfs if it wasn't for the top team in all 3 regions playing her (loud fnc drx) I think she would be in a similar state like she is currently

i would agree but most teams tried to avoid icebox and ascent

reasonably so, those map are just who plays the fundamentals better
