It's not so much more games as more games for mid table teams people support, especially right after kickoff.

It'd be nice to have optional regional off-season events during masters 1 with what's left of kickoff + some T2 teams a chance to show off against T1.

I say why not, nba players play 82 games per season minus off playoffs, and riot can't manage to host more than 3 international events per year, a huge let down tbh
