scrim leaks discussion

afaik scrim leaks or sharing isnt against ANY riot rules, riot doesnt have any rights over the scrims vods
so why are people asking riot to intervene as if they can control what teams do outside of the general guidelines and rulebooks
if teams dont want scrims to be leaked, they blacklist the teams. RIOT CANT DO ANYTHING.

it also is not a big deal, it is shameless by geng academy to offer to scrim a week before, but thats it. obviously if geng academy scrimed them likie 3 weeks ago, they still would share vods with the main team. that is one of the advantages that come with academy team.

thats the issue frost is bringing up that. there should be a rule that teams cant leaks scrims. you cant have half of the league sharing vods with each other its bad for the game

ngl I didn't really think about it until you brought it up here, but you're definitely right. think the most glaring point here is ethicality vs. legality. is it ethical? no. is it legal? yes, and aren't scrims coordinated by two teams with no oversight from riot? how would riot even enforce rules against scrim sharing?

also I'm assuming interference from orgs themselves by blacklisting is literally not even that hard for t1 teams. scrim sharing is probably still a problem for t2 or lower teams tho, in which case I have no clue how to fix (and riot clearly doesn't either, seeing as there are like 0 rules on it)
