nrg on lotus

ngl they aren’t even playing this terribly cause there were some winnable rounds but everything is going wrong for them, ggs go next to ascent

They're playing it pretty poorly and it doesn't help that G2's making them look worse than they actually are. I don't think NRG's lotus is better than most t1 teams right now and all of their mistakes and poor reads are being exploited fully by g2. It probably feels really suffocating for NRG since any attempt at taking space or creating some sort of complexity in the round is just shut down. They have to contest A, they have to contest C, B has a low conversion rate and there's a cross on there too. NRG feels like they have to take a site twice over - they have to win the early fight quickly before rotates come in and then get there before the flood. If they try to play around the map they need to win either A space or C space and they just aren't winning those so for G2 they always have a good idea of what NRG is trying to do.
