Dude i need help

how do you remove the dired marker ink from white board , i forgot to erase it with duster and left it for weeks. Removing with sponge with hot water and its taking ages to remove D:

Draw over the spot with ink again with dry erase marker then wipe it. Used to work sometimes for me, never tested it for multiple weeks tho
