After seeing the Valorant Fantasy announcement, I decided to do some data scraping using VLR ratings and kills from Stage 1 of 2024 to Kickoff 2025 across three regions to calculate some expectation point based on game rule (not including Masters and Champs). I found that most players from EMEA and the Americas who performed well at Kickoff are either rookies or have short-term performance, like Keiko, Mada, and Gobero(very cheap but we know he is in 2g). So, I'll recommend only Pacific players:
- Karon — He's the best player in all region based on my fantasy player index. He's been the best since Stage 2 to Kickoff, and being on GENG means he could earn more team bonuses
- Jemkin — The best player in Stage 1, 7th in Stage 2, and 2nd in Kickoff. The most consistent player who has already played three stages, but I still don't fully trust his team. Regardless, he could be a great asset in any fantasy team.
- Primmie — He gets rating bonus points every game he plays, and TLN has a great fixture since they meet T1 in Week 5. We could transfer him out for an EMEA player for Week 6 when only EMEA teams play
- Meiy — DFM has improved a lot this year, but their group is tough, so I wouldn't recommend him over the top three players
- Jitboys/Mako — The best mid-price players; they're always in the top 20 in every tournament. I like TLN's fixture more since we can transfer him out in Week 5 like Primmie
