CIS and EU are not the same
But I don't understand why EU gets so worked up about it, because EU>NA anyway
WinterBlac [#11]Imagine outting TR above CIS
they don't have free slots like korea.
they have to beat the best for only 1 slot
s1nek [#13]Is SMB still a thing?
Yes they played LCQ, while TSM were crying for a NA to win berlin so could enter NA LCQ and get shit on

CIS and EU are the same, though, bro. The whole point of debating regions is about which region has the strongest players and teams. Dunno if you realized this but EU players and CIS players play together every day in ranked, and they scrim each other every week for practice. It's the same region... the only reason it is divided into EU, CIS, and TR is because it is such a large region with so many teams.

you can't say that CIS + EU + TR = EU, it just doesn't add up (the definition is CIS + EU + TR + MENA = EMEA)
why riot does it like that, idk, but they do, and as it is CIS and TR have separate qualifiers from EU. There's nothing wrong with saying EMEA though. And if you're from EU, there's nothing wrong with being proud of Gambit
