A lot of people complain about Fanservice in anime
But, it feels like they have forgotten a key aspect of it
Shonen is for teenage boys.... Teenage boys like boobs and action, which is why there is so much of it
Shoujo is for teenage girls.... teenage girls like tall dudes with overtly feminine or masculine personality traits (srsly look at any Shoujo harem anime it's 8 or 80).
If you don't want Fanservice, watch Josei or seinen. You know, the genre of anime specifically targeted for adults?? With all that grey dullness and hopeless vibe you ppl seem to enjoy.
Every time ppl complain about anime and how it "should be" they always end up describing western animation. Just watch western media dude, nobody is forcing you to watch Mirai Nikki or Love Stage
It's always "too much Fanservice", "the characters are to whimsical", "why are the designs so cutesy?" , "I don't like how expressive they are", "It has too many weird concepts". It sounds like you just don't want to watch anime.
Anime is made in Japan, by the japanese, within japanese culture, ofc someone who doesn't live there is going to feel off-putting, but to just go and scream that they need to change is just entitled.
Kids shows are aimed at children, LazyTown, Bluey & Backyardigans are shows made for kids that display clichês inherent to the genre, to complain about it and then compare it to The boys or GOT is insanity.
TLDR : Stop complaining about anime when you are clearly watching the wrong genre for you.
