why do you force them to forfeit if he's having tech issues? you call up Envy and Blue Otter to see if they're ready to play or you delay the match. You fucked yourselves out of money, aswell as players out of playing time and fans out of a viewing experience.

yes/no
I'm very sure envy and blue otter would've said no, and either way teams know the rules in the rulebook about FFing after players can't connect after a certain period
it totally sucks for viewers and the players, but it is fair and necessary for the stream and tournament to function properly.

the whole server thing Dark3st and gmd are arguing about is weird to, idk why some of these teams aren't bootcamping illinois/texas, but you should just delay now you just fucked QOR, very unlucky. EDIT : According to Dark3st Admin didn't allow their coach to play and their 6th man wasn't available lol

QoR is broke, barely an org to be fair. TSM no excuse.
from what I've gained from the convo:
dark3st was having PC issues for at least a day, decided to not deal with it or create a backup plan before the match went live
dark3st tried logging into Val but kept getting bluescreened, then got bluescreened on PC startup
QoR asked their registered sub if he could make it, he said no
QoR asked the TO if their coach (not a registered sub) could play, TO said no
On top of now having a map gone, QoR is mad about Illinois servers being forced for map 2 by the TO after it was previously agreed to be Texas
This was because sym had 80+ ping and packet loss to Illinois, and QoR had higher but reasonable ping to Texas

who situation for both sides is very fucked challengers needs to find some sort of work around to stop this from happening in the future, because this would've been a pretty good match we were all screwed out of.

I think it's on the rules, if the team can't have 5 players on the server they automatically forfeit.

sucks for both teams in the end one team can't play illinois and the other has pc problems and can't use a sub

it is, but QOR 6th man was unavailable so they tried to use their coach and the admins said no, admins handeled it so poor
