EMEA IS better than ever, I think it has taken a step back but will jump 4 step forward
They are finally recycling all the oldies in the circuit
Every team have fresh talents which is big positive for the scene
And regarding fell off let's talk from 2024
Madrid two underdog team went (KC and TH) and they were allll rookies, so they crumbled under pressure
Shanghai - TH played with sub and still came to GF
Seoul - TH again came to GF and was just fell a bit short
Fnatic was in playoffs, again with a sub(hiro)
Bangkok - TL again was with rookies and they crumbled (Also unfortunate that they faced EDG and G2 and not a slightly easier seed)
VITALITY had major coach changes and role changes even though the core is same, less and team is still adapting, still they came Top 4
EMEA have following contenders for Toronto:
Vitality (Bangkok was just the beginning)
Liquid ( They have good coaching staff)
Heretics(Players are young and they were overconfident in kickoff, now they are back on track and they have a good coaching staff)
KC(Whole team was new, no core or whatsover, I think they are practicing super hard, just hoping they play meta comps and not sh*t harbor comps)
BBL(Looks promising without their star player in kickoff-chiwa, let's see what they can do)
NAVI(Again new core, koalanoob and coach was playing ascension and they had very less time for practice, they are my darkhorse team for Toronto)
Fnatic(Now the Elmapuddy is gone and they have taken Doombros I have faith in them to be atleast top 5)
FUT(Solid mid table team, have upset potential, also XEUS is the future)
And you also have young teams like KOI, G8 and GX who can upset few teams
Only sh*t team is APEKS as they lack firepower
I think EMEA teams are favorites to win Toronto
