I think the top players just don’t care to grind anymore because everyone at the top is already a pro or streamer or just hit radiant and quit and moves onto other games.

I think the hidden elo has made it so fucked that newer players can’t even climb unless they play 10 games a day (assuming a high 60% win rate) which just isn’t realistic for most.
