GGS T1.... Well Played G2 (Best Final ever?)

GGS to T1 on securing the trophy. Meteor wasn’t kidding when he said he wasn’t missing out on another trophy, huh? Dominant performance from them.

G2 also put up an incredible fight—some of those clutches from Jawgemo and Trent were absolutely insane. To all the G2 fans, don’t lose heart; your team played their hearts out, and you should be proud of them.

I’m seeing a lot of G2 fans complaining that the match was fixed or that T1 just got lucky spraying Phantom in the smoke and landing lucky kills. But let’s be real—G2 had their fair share of lucky moments too. That’s just how Valorant works. If you're going to discredit T1’s win, then you might as well do the same for every team that has ever had fortunate timings or RNG moments.

As for the claims that T1 cheated because of the crowd, the only remotely questionable moment was in the last round when Leaf had his OP trained on an angle where Izu was about to peek, and the crowd started screaming. Did it help? Maybe. Would it have changed the outcome of the match? Highly unlikely. T1 was simply the better team today.

At the end of the day, let’s not spread hate toward any team or region. Appreciate the game, respect the players, and enjoy the competition for what it is.

Peace.

Thank you for your words, GG to the T1 fans. T1 fought hard and deserve the win but it hurts nonetheless.

yeah despite the pain of watching them get this close, it was a good match, hopefully they maintain form going into stage 1

No problem. Ofc it hurts to see your team go down in OT when they had 2 chances to close it out but it is what it is

one of the better takes icl, i do think G2 were better over 5 maps but both teams were brilliant, one of the best games of all time imo especially with back to back OTs, hopefully both teams meet again at Toronto

G2 were quick on adjusting to the tejo meta as well so they might also be quick to adjust to the new map pools and metas.

G2 played really well, but T1 was really fighting today. Hopefully, G2 can also prevail victorious this year at Toronto or Paris!
