not gonna lie, I don't think this game has a lot to do with mental. They barely lost to g2 on g2's map pick, then took theirs quite easily and are now dominating the decider. mental did play a part, but not as big
Not talking about this series in particular but overall
Look at champs where they always lost map 1 in playoffs
Look at kickoff where they had to go through the lower bracket
I mean they have dealt with a lot of hate and people saying they were just the biggest fish in a really small pond, so I think some toughness comes from there
If u look at their champs run it's more mental. They always lose the first map of every series. Impressive they made an upper run like that.
EDG players gone through so much hate from Madrid/Shanghai. Losing map 1 is nothing.
Edg back then use to have pretty bad mental. It's crazy how switching the coach and player overall and practicing mental improved them.
