Like I understand watch partying because if see goat(fns) watch party I will click but why do people just watch streamers player ranked

Like I remember a couple nights ago I decided to look at twitch and I saw jaegemo streaming to like 1.2k and I watched for like 2 minutes and he literally didn’t say a single word. Like your too scared to queue so you watch a streamer no com and just run it down with zero chat interaction😭

Other streamers are probable a bit better like Tarik but what’s the joy in watching someone else stream ranked. Why not go on YouTube watch something higher quality or just play the game yourself

some people (like me) can’t play the game for whatever reason so the next best thing is watching someone else play

i often watch s0m and what i do is have the stream in the background while i do other things like do homework

That’s fair watching streams in the background but I’m more so talking about the active everyday viewers who get on just to watch someone like jawgemo for 2-3 hours

s0m/shanks are who i typically watch and i'd say they are entertaining. if its not for entertainment then its probably just people wanting to learn the game at a higher level so they watch pros. other than that.. parasocial maybe.
