asia teams are dominating shooters this event, i think trace will be the weakest among them. na and emea could be destroyed. lets see their champions g2 and vitality if they can turn this over.
StalwartTiger_35 [#2]i could see g2 falling flat, but i think vit is guaranteed top 3 since they are good at playing scrappy which will help against the apac teams
G2's style actually works pretty well against Asian teams, at least it did last year. The only Asian team they lost to was GenG at Shanghai which is nothing to scoff at. But I mean yeah I can easily see both G2 and Vitality disappointing

g2 losing 2 maps to sen made me lose a lot of faith in them tbh

Yeah their split looked awful tbh but their Abyss just got hard antied. I have enough trust in JoshRT and Valyn that they'll enough new ideas that they it won't be antied like that again. Also why just losing faith in G2? All the teams had close grand finals. I mean Vitality lost two maps to Liquid and I would argue they're about the same as Sen

why is that? they rolled sen on fracture and haven for the most part, and its not like sen are a bad team despite todays results either, just let kaplan do his magic and sen will suddenly get back to better form
liquid took two maps off vitality and yet i don’t see this same energy for them

liquid's was a reverse sweep. yes they took two maps. but then immediately got rolled for 3 maps in a row.
g2 won a map. then lost 2. they had momentum, but threw it away.
this is how i see it (im dumb so i might be wrong lmao)

vitality showed holes in their gameplay against liquid too
g2 were down 1-2 then won the next two maps, absolutely nowhere near the same but both vitality and g2 had slow starts in the kickoff finals. either way both of their opponents did not win their respective series yesterday

by lost faith i dont mean i think they're going to bomb, i just think they have potential to be upset and don't seem like a clear number 1 anymore
