On Feb 12, 2025 at 12:54 PM PST I made a post titled Why :3 will beat YFP X today where I discussed a delulu reason for why :3 would win a match they were heavily favored to lose.
When the match started, :3 were up 8-3, and this is where my mistake came in. At this time, I made a post called :3 DOUBTERS COME where I stated the following:
WE WINNING 8-3 AGAINST A SALARIED TEAM, WYA NOW >:3 😤
After this post was made, :3 proceeded to lose EVERY SINGLE ROUND that map and shortly lose the next map after. After this, they proceeded to lose in the lower bracket and get eliminated their next match.
I would like to apologize to the team, fans, and players for this generational jinx, and I would like to congratulate the players for how well they played despite this.
For the time being, I will cease my regular :3 updates and reminders until I am confident that the jinx is gone.
