no my point is that china wouldnt care more about valorant as a game if chinese teams werent performing,the fact cs esports is so popular in china even tho they are only fans of mostly eu teams and theres basically no chinese representation in tier 1 just shows the difference

i mean its a fact that cs would be just as popular in china if they were good at the game,cause i actually do watch what chinese people think about esports and shit on their own platforms out of curiosity and the cs related content seems just as popular but the chinese teams performing well is obviously more interesting to ur average chinese wiewer,but simply the passion for the game and interest is not more on valorant lol
val is not "way bigger" in china,atleast not the esport lol,the fact ur saying its way bigger is more speculation than me saying it isnt,its legit only edg who carries the esport wiewership,other valorant content not related to edg is not more popular than cs content in platforms like bilibili etc,thats why im saying china would not care more about valorant at all if they didnt have a team like edg who are a big org and also title contending team,cs doesnt have that in china
im literally only saying facts there are no ifs,valorant as a esport is not more popular than counter strike,i went and looked at the numbers as i said and it showed me that,u can do that too the Chinese platforms are completely free to see,idc if ur unable to logically see the clear fact based take im making,chinese people have massive interest for cs and it can be seen in the exact numbers that arent bigger for valorant when a singular popular chinese team isnt playing its a very logical "if" to assume the interest for cs would be just as high if they had a competitive national scene and a team like edg who they can actually be excited about
