i hate when mfs when their team doesn't qual they say "oh yeah this is a mickey mouse tournament."

heck, ive heard people say CHAMPIONS is a mickey mouse cuz NRG or their fav team don't make it.

I haven't seen it in a minute, but it's definitely a term that lost all it's meaning.. I feel like a Mickey Mouse tournament would be a tournament where it's all low tier teams, and than they invite 1/2 Top 4 teams.. That's when I believe it's justified
