KRU is the favorite, right? Their momentum is excellent, and they've only lost to LOUD so far, while all their other matches were basically stomps.
It doesn't make sense for the odds to be so heavily in MIBR's favor.
The 2.0 betting odds are definitely weird considering kru have many more proven t1 players, and have demonstrated a much stronger performance after their initial loss against loud. Their map pool is their weakest point. They have a weak haven attack, kru also likes to ban fracture and pearl whereas mibr like to ban fracture and pick pearl. This leaves a scenario here mibr will most likely be favoured on the map picks, but still would not think thats enough to make kru have 2x odds.
bees [#2]It's weird because mibr does have very high potential, but are also a new roster, so seeing them do well already is hype. This matchup is hard to predict.
I found MIBR very inconsistent, mainly because the roster is completely new and they've been grinding scrims seriously for less than 20 days. Making the top 4 is already an excellent result for the Kickoff.
KRU doesn’t have this issue since their core already existed before. In my opinion, that will make a difference.

I agree. I think the loss to LOUD made people underestimate KRU. They’re not in the top 4 by chance. It was expected that they would perform well.
I even predicted it myself: https://www.vlr.gg/420567/what-is-the-most-underrated-team-currently/#1

That's what I'm saying. Expectations are very low for mibr, so the fact that they're already top 4 just has people riding the hype train. Honestly, they could pull it off. But you're right that KRÜ should have the odds in their favor.
