I missed my chance

I missed by chance to become spiderman today.

So when I was in shower this morning & I saw spider web on one corner of the wall & I went closer & saw the spider. I touched it so that he could bite me & I will become spider man but I guess I touched quite harshly cuz he fell on the floor & water from shower just swept him through the sink hole in the bathroom. Now I am cursing myself for missing that chance. Can anyone help me or give me advice on what should I do now?

2) A lot of versions of spiderman were never bit by a spider. Instead, he used his brain to make web-shooters and a suit. In fact, a lot of editions of spidermen are not even superhuman but just a kid with some fancy tech.
