As i said, I don't like franchising either but I'm sure that Riot is happy with the current format so I doubt that they will make any changes soon

The more players and fans complain then something will happen probably

I think they should start with starting EMEA 1-2 hours earlier so the overlap between the regions doesn't happen as much. China and pacific are going to have overlap, it is what it is.

Add evolution series like China, more games to play if you don't qualify to internationals. Good opportunity for tier 2 teams to compete in tier 1.5 tournament .
