Valorant is special due to it's ever-changing meta. For teams and players to succeed in Valorant, they must be able to adapt to these changing metas. Everyone knew how cracked Neon was, EDG just learned how to play it best. Stop trying to downplay an achievement real people with real passion for the game worked countless difficult hours to earn.

You stop downplaying how much effort other teams put into the game. Just because they didn't have player that could perfectly play a busted and sliding overwatch character in a tac fps game, they get fucked? This is not even the game they signed up to play.

And I don't see how I am downplaying other teams? Everyone had access to Neon, and most of the teams in the top 4 had Neon players. This is Valorant, sometimes there's the occasional "overpowered" agent, but it is the game they signed up to play and there is going to be a player who plays an agent better than the rest.

You talk like EDG had been slacking off all season and only won Champs because of one stupid agent that once again, everyone had access to.

You do know every champs winner falls off at some point the next year just because they've gotten overconfident doesn't invalidate the work they put in to win champs
