Nobody wonders it's dead, and people who do are braindead. It's called tier 2 scene for a reason and it's sole existence is to feed talent into tier 1.

Also, those talent needs money , and good wages only comes from big orgs, to make sure orgs stay, you need viewership, so yeah your line of thinking is misguided and harming the scene.

This is 2025, no one is willing to dive in esports out of pure "passion". If all orgs pay shit wages then expect less talents

idk if im in the minority but i DONT give a shit about T2 except the times where ppl that are has some relevancy / is interesting plays in it (e.g. Toast ORG, Streamer pug teams, or an ex-tier1 player/team i like competing on it) im not gonna tune in to watch some 5 random dudes shitting on 5 random dudes that isnt the top of the competition. at the end of the day its just entertainment and T2 doesnt entertain me therefore i wont watch it

I'm not forcing anyone to watch tier 2. And tbh, I don't really watch any scene other than Japan. But I find it funny that people who complain about tier 2 being dead are most likely the same people who refuse to watch Tier 2.

Keep up with that mentality and very soon there will be no Tier 2 nd once there's no tier 2, Tier 1 will automatically die after that bcz nothing can exist without a feeding pipeline
