People who work cashier jobs, do you except kids to tip?
Cuz as a young individual living off of my parents money, I'm broke so I don't tip much

well, I use to and definitely not plus most places wouldn't even allow you to take tips as a cashier, it is very unusual
yea it was the case for me too. I mean, I'm just a cashier i am not serving anything to I didn't even expect to get tipped anyway.
I know you guys have a whole 'tipping culture' but I had no idea you tipped cashiers too, I thought it was just restaurant servers
Was in texas last summer and this woman cussed at me for tipping 1 dollar. Called her broke and left
well firstly idk if anyone tips a "cashier" but surely, in any circumstances, you wouldn't expect kids to tip you. bit weird to expect tips from kids tbh.
US is living in a different universe wdym tip the cashier us tipping culture is insane how about you guys rally so you can get paid properly
exactly, im canadian (we have almost the same tipping culture) and we wiuldnt tip the cashier, america on crack fr
Yea I'm ngl this topic always pisses me off. I'm fine with tipping waiters and barbers etc. However, I'm not tipping you for a fucking take out order. It wasn't a thing like 4-5 years ago, so idk how it became a thing over the past few years. The only time I'll tip a cashier is if im jeff bezos or im dying in a week.
I could never imagine seeing the prices excluding taxes THEN tipping after that
