I could see this side, but the players are the biggest representation of an org's presence. Some people will buy the bundles simply because the org name is tied to it, but the majority are buying because of the players (I don't have a source, I made this up and hope it holds true)

It makes sense for players to have a cut in games like CS where they need to qualify for a major to get an in-game item
In valorant, if you’re in franchising you have a skin. Has next to nothing to do with the players.

But from a business standpoint clown9 is restarted as well. if they gave the players a cut they would promote the bundles leading to more sales of the skin.
