Spotlight

Obviously there is a clear winner in terms of ranking : EMEA. A double elimination bracket with a lot of team (way more matches), in the middle of the off season so it does not bother a team schedule too much. Americas had a lot of famous teams but it did not have the hype of EMEA to me.
Don’t get me wrong, spotlight is a good idea, to mesh gc, t2 and t1 player Is a good idea, but it should not be pushed late into the off-season and have more team like EMEA had.

Also I agree with your point. The earlier it's done, the better it is for everyone, even if they're done at the same sorta time like regular season games
