Aspas disrespect

Why do br fans disrespect him so much? I swear I’ve heard of so many “new Aspases” from Brazil like when they hype up players like havoc or askia, but many of these players can’t even put up Aspas stats in tier 2 let alone tier 1. Is Aspas not liked in Brazil?

To be honest I don't know why, but here in Brazil we are used to be calling everyone "new version of certain player" and overhype them, like new Messi new Pelé new Neymar and we forget that the player/person has unique characteristics that differenciate him from the others, that obviously are not the same as their idols. And these unique characteristics need to be improved by their team/coach otherwise it aint gonna go too well tho

Nah that was crazy, people say primmie is better than Aspas after primmie played like 4 series in tier1
Like we have never seen primmie in a tier1 tournament or play in a grand finals etc

Brazilians have smth called "Vira lata".
For some god unknow reason, we tend to glaze and idolize foreigners, treating they 100x better than our own people.
If a gringo has a opnion, he is right, if a gringo like smth I don't like, I'm wrong and he is right.
