No one can carry a valorant game with just mechanics alone, specially on very top level. We have seen countless example of this and primmie is rated for his mechanics, not overall as a player. Besides, it's a team game, if his team shits the bed he won't have many opportunities to shine. People don't perform and not perform inside a vacuum.

1v9ing is crazy the rest of talon may be hella inconsistent but when they frag they do frag.
Primmie is insane but Ive heard many people argue that he is a top player be top 15 or below and its just not something I can agree with just yet
