In line with our league operation policies, Nongshim RedForce’s existing Challengers team in Korea will no longer be affiliated with Nongshim after Challengers 2024 Korea: Split 3 ends. Their slot in Challengers Korea will remain with the players should they choose to continue to compete under a different banner.

But I thought vct teams could have academy teams??

They probably don't want to pay for one at this stage.

Sad DK or KT didn't buy the roster, it's the two historic LCK teams afterall, a team that didn't ever make a top 3 in LCK is sad.

Plus redforce already had a really great roster, it's bad to ruin the best T2 KR team :/

Each challengers league may have no more than 3 academy teams unless an exception is permitted by league entity
