just to let orgs and investment leave, and have it be filled with Premier teams who'll play for free.
With the thought that they can get eventually get picked up by orgs when they ascend in to tier 1.

because it genuinely seems that way, I don't think having orgs is in the plan for tier 2, and they just haven't admitted it since it would be a PR nightmare

Im sorry but this is so stupid. This isn't 2000s where passion runs through the industry. If there's no money in it people will just switch to other games.

The problem with tier 2 is riot trying to control every aspect of tier2 leaving no 3rd party tournaments aside from off season, not only that riot also does a shit job of controlling in the process.

fr i was thinking the exact same thing.
But most small orgs will probably sign for minimum wage because they probably won't wanna commit to a bidding war with other bigger orgs,
like imagine if m80 comes back at the end of ascension to sign an unsigned premiere team, like other teams will want them, but m80 has more finances than other mid-size to small-size orgs so they'll probably pick them up.

The problem is you are in an industry where players last max 10 years or less ( accounting how long till you're washed) , being paid a minimum salary is just not worth it.

Also the example if m80 coming in with more money will always happened if aayans suggestion becomes true.
