1) Their comps are old and shahzam can fix that on his own... but he won't be able to fix all the problems because a coach can watch all his players during scrims... find what they are doing wrong on each agent and try to fix it. There is much more to the game than trading... they need to have perfect executions much like Gambit to even stand a chance against EMEA's Gambit... and maybe Fnatic/Acend tho they don't look as scary as Gambit.
2) A coach can be a third opinion that can ultimately better the team... Currently shahzam on jett... dapr on sova is kind of pepaga... Sick should be second duelist if anything... but Tenz should be on Jett on Icebox... Split Jett for shahzam is kind of pepaga too... he shouldn't be playing duelist in my eyes... Tenz should be the only Jett player on the team and Sick should play Skye with Shazam on Sage... going back to why a coach would help is that a coach would be able to tell shahzam that they don't need him on jett when they have the best Jett on their team already... and no need to get Tenz on an uncomfortable agent like Raze...
3) Coaches are very helpful in VOD reviewing and they usually have a deep understanding of how to gain map control...Also they can help them come up with better strats since their current ones looked ass...
4) During games it is very helpful in my eyes that you have the ability to call a timeout and talk to a coach... its also kind of a mental reset if you are losing a lot in a row... for example TSM's sucess was largely dependent on Coaches timeouts because they would generally win 2 to 3 rounds in a row right after calling a Coaches timeout because a coach can potentially provide the player with an idea that solves a certain push or strar
5) Shahzam isn't that good of an analyzer anyways...Fnatic in my eyes were the better team in terms of strats and anti strats... but they lost all 5 games closely and coz of their lack of experience...
