I restarted my laptop because my browser was acting up. When it finished, the following happened to my laptop:

  • cannot find any wifi (it can’t even turn on airplane mode)
  • doesn’t have ANY sound (incoming or outgoing)
  • default refresh rate went from 144hz to 64 hz
  • brightness cannot be changed.

I haven’t downloaded any bad files, my VPN is updated, and i do a scan regularly. What the hell is going on and how do i fix it? (I mostly care about the first 3)

Update drivers or you put your laptop on powersaving mode

my graphics drivers are updated, so the refresh rate shouldn’t have changed.

all 4 sound like an issue with drivers. use driver booster or any other driver finder software and update the drivers

windows 11 just buggy. go to device manager and try disable and enable again those devices.
also check power saving mode. do windows update
