Will the new engine be better for fps?

I want to make the jump for 540hz but rn I can't get 540 consistent, so will the new engine be better?
Here's a video explaining it but I'm still left slightly confused since this video says roughly a 5% decrease but I've seen some people say it'll give way higher frames

its prob gonna stay the same cuz its valorant. it wont change how the game looks but will make it easier for the devs to push new features

It's okay. In 2015 I played minecraft at 30fps on a macbook air. It gets better 😁
