Make an alt because then it will have no mmr and will be easier to climb. Once you hit a higher rank than your main your mechanics will get better since you're playing better oppositions and get out of ur elo

if you really care about ranking up and cba to deal with changing your mental outlook on the game, what you can do is have 2 accounts, and play on the whichever lower rr/rank is at any given time. It helped me for a while
