I think kajaak buyout would be higher than the difference in salary between him and Derke for half of the season at least ...

Yes, I think so too, I think seeing that they can get kajaak(a potential sidegrad) while getting the derke buyout money(derke was 100% going to get picked up by another team) and changing the team environment they probably think this is an overall good move

On minis stream like a week ago he said he believed that derke being a RFA is mostly a managerial decision, and had nothing to do with the players or the coach.

I don’t think so, it’s probably gonna be just as much or more. There was a huge bid war for him

Regardless this wasn’t about money, they payed Apeks a very good buyout for him in the first place. And they don’t wanna sell Derke to VIT even tho they pay the most
