Who y’all got? Topuria prolly wins but I hope Holloway does cause I can low key see a max vs Islam super fight at 155 in the future
malice043 [#2]Topuria
He’s low key underrated, amazing boxer with great juijitsu if he gets through Holloway he could run fw for a while
Danny [#4]Topuria will get revenge on holloway for what he did to my sweet beautiful king justin gaethje
Gaethje is braindead for taking that fight tbh if he was patient he could have gotten a title shot first and then fought Holloway later
h1gh_fall [#6]holloway for the content
You know ball
We eating good bro that card is amazing and we got chandler vs Olivera on the next card + makhachev arman in January
ValAnalist1 [#8]I don't think I understand Valorant that much, but in comparison with you I think I'm a genius, but when we're talking about MMA, I've been following it since I was 9 years old. Topuria will knock him out within 2 rounds. Same thing Pereira vs Khalil.
Why u hating bruh
And yeah topuria will probably win, his boxing is incredible, would be cool if Holloway upsets tho
Uncleben [#5]Gaethje is braindead for taking that fight tbh if he was patient he could have gotten a title shot first and then fought Holloway later
PPV points on UFC 300 though. Hard to turn down
Danny [#10]PPV points on UFC 300 though. Hard to turn down
Yeah fairs
He’s also one of those guys that just loves fighting anyone anytime he was always gonna say yes
Uncleben [#9]Why u hating bruh

The only way to win is if Topuria gets tired. But that's very unlikely, since he went 5 rounds against Emmet at an insane pace. Holloway needs a lucky shot like he landed on Gaethje at the end of the first round. Sorry for hating.

The problem is that Holloway doesn’t really have finishing power, I feel like if topuria gets him on the back foot like against volk it’s only gonna be a matter of time before he kos him sadly
I wonder if topuria will take him to the ground if it drags on

forget all that and comment based on edits bro, it's funnier this way

He doesn't exactly need to finish with a punch. In the fight against Gaethje he threw a kick and broke Gaethje's nose at the end of the first round. This certainly compromised Gaethje in the fight (the eye pokes too).
Holloway will have to kick a lot, and avoid the boxing exchanges. Every average boxer that Holloway faced, he took a lot of blows to the head. He won't be able to avoid it against Topuria, so he'll probably be caught and Topuria could end up with ground and pound.
Topuria is great but I wouldn’t say he’s the better boxer of the two, I mean they had Topuria dodge Max up to the belt for a reason. If Topuria try’s to keep it on the feet I have Max in 4, he has decent jujitsu if he can manage Max’s speed I think he can win the decision let’s also not forget Max has been knocked down 0 (actually 1) time and it was againsr Gatheje. Don’t know when Max became the underdog but I see this as more 50/50 even 60/40 Max, Topuria is not a better striker

If he has success with kicks against topuria, should topuria attempt to introduce a grappling threat of some kind? I haven’t watched much topuria so how is he against leg kicks btw? Could be a viable strategy against a guy who has good footwork like him

12 Knock Outs btw with “no finishing power”
theogblazen [#18]12 Knock Outs btw with “no finishing power”
He hasn’t knocked any guys since 2018 other than Gaethje (at 55) and tkz
Don’t get me wrong he’s got power but he is not got cement hands just because he finished Justin
ValAnalist1 [#19]due to volume not necessary power.
if u don’t think those punch’s have “power” ur delusional, he’s the fastest striker in the UFC of course they add up? And has proven it time and time again, I really don’t mind people underrating him it only results in him proving people wrong. Best boxer in the UFC BABBYYYYYY

did I call him cement hands? But saying Max doesn’t have finishing power especially for his weight class is jus delusional lol his last two were both TKO regardless of round they was sleeping

Topuria doesn't deal well against kicks. If you watch the first round against Volkanovski, he took a lot of kicks, coming from a guy who is very short. Against Max, who is much taller than Volkanosvki, it will be much more difficult to defend.

I think more so max does take a decent amount of dmg against elite strikers and topuria might be the best or 2nd best offensive boxer rn in the ufc, so the change of topuria finishing him is higher

Perhaps max will be able to slow down his movement with kicks and beat him in the later rounds when topuria tired but more likely he gets caught first

that makes 0 sense the only person Max had lost to in the past 5 years was Volk and he’s never been knocked down (once kinda) never been knocked out. you could even argue he won one of the fights against Volk. Rating Topuria that highly after clipping Volk once and dodging the gatekeeper is wild

Best boxer in UFC, and lost three times to Volkanovski in pure striking, and get his ass beating by Poirier. Topuria will show levels. Every fight Holloway take more than 50 punches in the head. He isnt the best boxer in UFC, he is just a cardio machine with iron chin.
theogblazen [#22]did I call him cement hands? But saying Max doesn’t have finishing power especially for his weight class is jus delusional lol his last two were both TKO regardless of round they was sleeping
in his weight class, he's gotten 1 finish in his last 9 fights, and it was over a chinny korean zombie. I don't think it's delusional at all to say he doesn't have much finishing power.

He did get 4 straight kos over Pettis Aldo x2 and Ortega from 016-018, but hasn’t exactly been sleeping everyone since
His gaethje knockout was also him heavier against a far more reckless fighter than topi Ria as well

I think it’s fair to say that Holloway hasn’t faced a lot of guys with the skill AND power of topuria recently at least
Volk wasn’t exactly a ko machine (he wrestlefucked yair first) either despite his skill

If Topuria can manage his speed I have no doubt he can take it in decision. If Max isn’t slowed down by round 2 he can run away with it

The only big mistake I see Topuria making is extending himself too much, because he loads his strikes too much.
Even so, he continues to have a much better defense than Holloway.
