Before I say anything controversial, I am a DRX fan and have been in both League and Val for quite a while. I have nothing against the team or any players just want to give my opinion on something. Now Mako in the 2022 season was probably one of if not the best controller player in the world, not that he's not good anymore but obviously he hasn't really been the same since. Now with Stax gone as IGL I'm pretty sure Mako is the new IGL for the team with Beyn being the second caller?

With the team being mostly all rookies and youngsters, I know Mako is the only sensible option for IGL since its just him and Buzz left (and have experience). But when watching previous matches he seemed pretty Shakey and generally didn't seem confident in his calls, like he's second guessing most of his calls. I know its still pretty early and he's still learning the role and most likely will be a lot better by next year but what do you think?

they trying to turn mako into korean bLitz
i do believe in mako's igl-ing, drx didn't look half bad at champs
I would even say mako has the potential to turn out a great fragging igl if they let him work on his psychology mental and self doubt, often times igls fight with themselves in the head
if he overcomes that hurdle whilst retaining his individual prowess drx can turn out very great

i agree, I think he can be great as long as he overcomes those issues

mako is still goated at playing around smokes.
his and s0m's smoke IQ is the best in the world.

if he has to focus on micro, his IGL suffers, if he has to focus on macro, his micro suffers.
he's shown flashes of being able to balance both - i think its just a matter of time b4 is a good enough caller - like munchkin
