why is it that only the winner goes to the main stage?? like does rito realise that m80 clears furia and mibr aswell? (based on the ranking in the main season), it should be top 3 of ascension who get promoted and bottom 3/bottom 2 of main season teams who get relegated

You missed the whole point of franchising. It’s about having stable orgs in the league for a long time, from wich riot and the orgs profit. If a team is bad the orgs just switch their players for the next season and pick up t2 talent (At least it should be like that).
