how was liquid good? i REFUSE to believe that them beating fnc in the emea finals was anything but a fluke. they got steamrolled at tokyo besides beating edg once and they lost 0-4 at champs(tbf they were in group of death and were really close against navi, which is another emea team). they had a good roster and i believed in them but they barely did anything

yeah their champs flop was kinda unfortunate, they got really close to beating navi who got really close to beating drx and loud

the whole group was decided on a couple of rounds

The thing holding liquid back last year was game plan and niether redgar or emil were able to fix it through out the entire year and it honestly showed this year as well

I disagree, liquid has solid game plans but their players are simply mechanically weak, he did decent with them in 2023 where he had some shooters

emil is definitely questionable ngl but not sure what his influence is on overall team direction.

is he finding good antistrats? does he decide comps? is the team listening to his gameplan? if its mostly his influence then yes TL need change
