It's safe to say by their split 2 performance he was doing quite a bit. Players themselves hinted the fact that they didn't want him to leave and it was management's decision

If you think them benching their coach and having the worst split of their core's 2-3 year existence is just a coincidence then so be it.

They were playing like a top 2-3 team in europe at kick-off and split 1, they got fucked by the format and the fact that they had to play soon to be the best team europe in single elim games twice.
