Sad reality about tier 2

People only care about tier 2 when their scene is about to be merged/destroyed etc. But when nothing happens everyone usually doesn't give a fuck.

That kind of mentality sucks.

Because riot doesn't give a shit about tier 2 either which is why they didn't expect so much backlash. Ofc people are gonna support their region in having slots but most people don't have the time or riot doesn't market tier 2 games as much so there's less hype.

This kind of relationship should be reciprocal, riot take care of the scene, and the community in exchange follow the scene thoroughly, when no one simply watches the scene, riot's hand will be tied ofc, even riot has its limits. It's been this way for a long time no? I don't think this situation is exclusive to valorant as well.
