I know it’s a small sample size but also at the same time I think th will still win it just a better story line to close the year
LordItachi [#2]If you go storyline wise then EDG are better suited. But honestly TH are so stacked they should win. But anything can happen as we know valo requires all the players to not have a bad/off day. Even woot gets sit down in some matches due to having off day just like anyone.
EDG story kinda ass no? Regional farmers shit at LAN make a roster move to finally look good. Like their region was so bad that even after doing horrible they still made it past playoffs and won. TH is even better imo. 4 rookies having to play with a "sub" for 2 LANs and then being doubted and people saying their "sub" roster is better than the main and then crushing that narrative.

The storyline for both are pretty even. EDG are looking for their region's first trophy just like GenG did in Shanghai. While TH are those rookies who had a heartbreak in Shanghai after a massive run and seeing them again lose like that will be unfair.
smthlikeyou11 [#3]EDG has map ban advantage but I think TH are better
the crazy thing is map ban advantage isn’t actually that advantageous for them, both of them have the same exact perma bans (ascent) and they are both well rounded on most maps
